St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School – Graduated 2002

Lisa Morgan spent her time at St. Thomas Aquinas participating in various extra-curricular activities and absorbing the quality education from her excellent teachers. She was a member of the Social Justice Club, the Mock Trial Club, the school choir and was the editor of the yearbook in her last year. Lisa believes that her time at STA provided her with the tools and confidence to succeed in her post-secondary education and beyond.

After graduating in 2002, Lisa decided to take a year off and continued to work at LIFE 100.3 in Barrie as a part-time radio announcer. She then pursued her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Ottawa and upon graduating, she started working at Ottawa’s 93.9 BOB FM as the overnight and swing announcer.

In 2007, Lisa returned to Simcoe County and began working at 107.5 KOOL FM as the midday host. She also does voice acting and has been the commercial voice for Almay, Benefiber, V-Tech toys and more.

Amongst a busy work and family life, Lisa has found time to volunteer, spending time as a Big Sister and a tutor with Next Step Literacy Centre. She has also committed herself to helping Syrian refugees settle in the community.

Lisa and her husband and daughter live in her hometown of Beeton. Lisa is expecting her second child in early May and will be ‘off air’ enjoying her maternity leave.
